Is Kejriwal applying double standard in taking action against his law minister?
It's always said that if you are living by media you should be ready to die with media! Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) before becoming a political party always stood for granting independent status to CBI, CVC and demanded for Police reform as advised by the Supreme Court. Point is simple when you were activist you were fighting for police reform and were demanding that the law implementing authorities shouldn’t be under political bosses!
Yet you just got into a street fight with the central government over the jurisdiction of Delhi
Police! Had it been a controversy with BJP versus Congress, you would have been championing in pressing for police reforms!
The natural justice and Indian jurisprudence of law says unless one is proved guilty, he can’t be treated as guilty. Similarly none can be considered as innocent until proved innocent. In fact these are the main reasons of AAP’s stand when they say Yedurrappa is guilty, Modi is fascist, Shinde is dictatorial because questions are raised! These are just allegations. Yedurrappa is cleared by High Court; Modi is cleared by SC appointed SIT and till date no court sentence against Shinde!
On the other hand, in Bharti’s case, a magistrate court has already asked police to register a FIR; Ugandan women already identified Bharti as one of the accused who tried to attack them. Agree that the evidences can be manipulated and Bharti is innocent! But what about your charges against the SHOs to whom you want to suspend without any investigation!
Dear Mr. Kejriwal, the public may sometime trust you and your policies but aren’t fool to buy every idea! The Indian voters are as matured or immature as rest of the global community! They voted against Congress dictatorship during emergency on 1977 but brought it back in 1980 when they saw JP’s heirs were engaged in vested interest!
Thus I never question on Indian voters’ ability to know who the best is! Point is they are compelled to choose the best among available alternatives! If with such reports you still stand by such an alleged minister, then you are not here for public interest rather you want to do electoral politics for selfish interest. My charge is grave but not out of the context!
If you can’t sack Bharati then you lose right to ask other parties to take action against their errant members, as double standard is not endorsed! All TV channels are screaming that Bharti is responsible for Mobocracy! Why you aren’t able to take action against him? Is he above law?
