A state is not a personal property of a Chief Minister and such behaviour of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in returning relief-money to people of Gujarat is against unity of country and should be taken into account.
WAS IT personal money of Gujarat Chief Minister Narender Modi that was given by Gujarat government for flood-relief in Bihar, which Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar returned back because of purely political reasons that too without even taking in confidence his cabinet-colleagues which also include ministers from Bharatiya Janata Party? It is an insult to people of Gujarat rather than its Chief Minister. Even enemy-countries exhibit cordiality and sympathy with people of each-other in case of tragedies and natural calamities by sending relief material and money. Nitish Kumar should remember that Bihar also has BJP voters who also might have felt bad of such an undemocratic step of their Chief Minister.
A state is not a personal property of a Chief Minister and such behaviour of Bihar Chief Minister in returning relief-money to people of Gujarat is against unity of country and needs to be taken note of Bihar governor and Union government apart from President of India. It is time that Nitish Kumar realises his mistake. Or otherwise, state-governor should intervene to undo the wrong done to ensure unity of the country.
