Ishrat Jahan case: The true face of Congress led by Sonia-RaGa combination
The Congress led UPA government had submitted two affidavits in the case on the Lashkar-e-Taiba jehadi Ishrat Jahan in 2009 to the SC within a gap of two months. The first affidavit said that the four people including Ishrat, who were killed in an alleged fake encounter by Gujarat police, were terrorists.

While in the second affidavit filed within two months, the congress government made a complete u-turn and said that there was no conclusive evidence to say they were terrorists. RVS Mani, former undersecretary (Internal Security) in the Union home ministry, the man who signed the two affidavits in the Ishrat case, has now claimed that he was used as a rubber stamp by the Congress government.

Stating that the evidence in the Ishrat fake encounter case was engineered, the former bureaucrat said that he was ordered to sign on the second affidavit and hinted that the SIT wanted him to implicate the Gujarat Intelligence Bureau officers in an interview to Times Now.

RVS Mani has alleged that he was tortured by SIT chief Satish Verma. Before this Mr GK Pillai one of the most honest and competent officers of IAS cadre and then Home secretary under Chidambaram, the ex home minister in Congress led UPA Government rule has indicted Chidambaram for changing the affidavit concerning the encounter of Ishrat Jahan, an LeT jehadi.

It must be remembered that the Pakistani agent David Hadley now in an American prison has officially confirmed in his evidence to the court that Ishrat Jahan and her three accomplices were LeT jehadis. Ishrat Jahan and her three jehadi accomplices were killed on the outskirts of Ahmedabad by the Gujarat police in an encounter.

Apparently by showing this encounter as fake and giving a clean chit to Ishrat Jahan, the entire game of the Congress was to somehow implicate Modi. As a result, a number of senior officers of Gujarat police including the IB Chief Mr Rajendra Kumar had to spend lot of time in jail with their reputation spoiled.

Now this entire case must be reinvestigated under the aegis of the SC and the culprits responsible must be punished, whoever and howsoever high and mighty they may be. This game with national security cannot be tolerated any more. If true, then this is dirty politics.
