ISIS strikes Paris again; one dead and four injured in knife attack
In another terrorist attack in Paris, a man wielding a knife led an attack in the central part in the city while shouting "Allahu akbar" on late Saturday in which one person has been left dead and four others wounded.

Of the four injured, two have suffered light injuries whereas two are being treated for serious injuries. The attack took place on Rue Monsigny in the 2nd arrondissement area of Paris.

Terrorist organisation ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack. The attacker was reportedly shot dead by the police.

In the attack which took place just after 9 pm, the police immediately swing in to action and shot dead the attacker within minutes. The police immediately cordoned off the area and ambulances were rushed towards the site of the attack.

French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb appreciated the quick response of the police forces.

In the last three years, France has been witnessing a rise in terrorist attacks especially of two kinds, the attacks led by extremist groups such as the ISIS and hate crimes led by the white supremacy extremists. In one of the deadliest terror attacks, in November 2015, 130 people were killed when ISIS struck the city with bombings and shootings. In July 2016, 89 people were killed after a lorry was deliberately driven into crowds.
