It is a big responsibility, we will leave no stones unturned, says Modi after becoming BJP's PM candidate
After his announcement as the Prime Ministerial Candidate of BJP, Narendra Modi thanked all the party workers and people of the nation for the responsibility bestowed on him.

As most of the BJP leaders rushed to felicitate and congratulate Modi, a visibly emotional Modi said that the party will leave no stone unturned to win the 2014 polls.

After coronation, the Gujrat Chief Minister spoke about his journey from being a worker in BJP to being given the respected responsibility of being the PM candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He pledged that he will use this responsibility to serve the nation, reported nnis.

During the meeting he said, “I worked with BJP for many years as a worker. I have always used the strength and wisdom given by the god to bring the nation forward and to serve it and my party has helped me in doing so.”

Modi thanked his party by acknowledging the magnanity of his party by choosing the candidate who came from a common middle class background. Asking the people of the nation to bless him in his journey Modi thanked all the BJP workers and all the senior leaders.

Hours ahead of the formal announcement of making Narendra Modi the prime ministerial candidate, BJP party president Rajnath Singh informed allies like the Shiv Sena and Shiromani Akalidal about the decision. Modi flew into the capital in the afternoon and Rajnath also said that Modi is going to meet LK Advani soon to seek his blessings. But the party patriarch was missing from the parliamentary board meeting.
