It was time to honour Kazmi, not making him a scapegoat

THOUGH INDIAN agencies have been trying very hard to trace the suspected terrorists involved in Israeli diplomat’s car blast case but there were several important points that were neglected (intentionally probably) – all of them point towards Israel itself.

Was it a terrorist attack or just a fake incident to make strong grounds for attacking Iran just like Iraq and Afghanistan? There could be a bigger conspiracy than it seems but one thing is sure, getting deep into the case one could easily smell something other than what we are made to believe.

Fortunately nobody got killed in the incident but why? Was it just to make ground for something? Police said that it was low-intensity (250 grams) and mild blast and it didn’t contain any kind of shrapnel of iron filings, nails or glass. Adding to it, the place where it was attached would have caused minimum damage. “When such terrorists can easily attach something to a car, then why not at those places where it could have caused maximum damage.”- this is an observation that needs to be thoroughly investigated.

Yet another fault was damage caused in the car - the car was not much damaged by the impact of the blast but from the fire, which burned so slowly, as a result none of them suffered any kind of injury. Not only this, diplomat’s wife Yehoshua-Korentge easily got out of the car and went inside the Israeli Embassy without taking help from any one.
Well, in the past all blasts victimized people but in this case neither intended target (diplomat’s wife) was hurt nor was the blast done with a motive to kill bystanders. The Indian agencies failed to take name of any country or terrorist organization for few days but sitting far away, Israeli government alleged Iran’s involvement in it. Not only this but the Indian media connected it with Hezbollah (Lebanon’s resistance group) and alleged their hand behind the attacks. Did they have any proof, which made them make such conclusions?

Then comes twist in the story within some days. Israel’s P.M. Netanyahu reaches to the US for asking President, Barack Obama to implicate Iran in the car attack so that some more sanctions can be imposed on the country. Barely few hours passed after the meeting of Israeli PM, suddenly a respected journalist Mohammad Kazmi was arrested for allegedly assisting the terrorists.

Now about Kazmi, when the car was attack took place, he was sitting on a dharna (protest) in front of 24, Akbar Road (Congress headquarters). He had an old mobile phone and only 1200 dollars were found at his residence. Terrorism was still not so cheap that he would have done such a risky job for $1200. Certainly, nobody is expected to believe that Kazmi agreed to be part of a terror plot for mere 1200 dollars.

Police claims about two-wheeler used it in sticking bomb on car changed from time to time – first, it was Bajaj Pulsar for them and next moment, it was something else. Lastly when they found an old Scooty at Kazmi's house, they immediately claimed that it was used to “reccee”. Now one would have believed that that an unused old Scooty could have been used to chase high-speed cars like Innova to stick a bomb – but in this case we are unfortunately forced to believe.

Statement of Mohammad kazmi: “They (police) are saying I am an international terrorist but I must say I am a national hero. I am a journalist and had covered Iraq war for DD news channel. I have been made a scapegoat because the police was under a huge pressure from all fractions to solve this case.”
