It's fashion time in Patna
The city is now driving into the streets of fashion now. With the inclusion of major fashion institutes like NIIFT and INIFD, the fashion scene in Patna will be given a facelift with the INIFD organising a fashion show.
WITH PATNA budding in every turf, be it traditional sectors such as doctors, engineers, civil services or in upcoming areas such as mass communication, fashion, architecture or management, the city has broken the stereotypical notion of a major section of the population. With the induction of NIIFT and INIFD Patna branch, the young crowd is getting acquainted with the changing trends.
Inter National Institute of Fashion Designing (INIFD) is going to organise a fashion show in Patna on June 11 where models from Delhi are going to be the eye-candies apart from students of the institute. Like every year this year also the show is assumed to end on a great note. The most awaited show is scheduled to begin at 6 pm at Hotrel Patliputra Ashoka, a famous tavern in town. With ethnic themes and eight rounds, the weekend will surely bring some joy to the revelers. The USP of the show is assumed to be the use of wooden sheet in carving and shaping a women’s garment. Traditional Indian motifs are also used in designing outfits. The students have premeditated the attire under the guidance of various faculties and director of the association. 50 students are taking part in the contest and they will show their best ingenuity and creativity. A construction company is sponsoring the show. Entry is restricted to avoid any disturbance by the bucolic and rowdy crowd. These ramp shows give a good opportunity to telecast the talent and give insight of art and hands-on-experience.
