It's shocking: J&K CM asked cops to apologise to Kashmiri youth for Burhan Wani's killing, claims police officer
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has allegedly instructed the State police to apologise to the Kashmiri youth for the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.

According to a senior police officer, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, Mehbooba instructed the police to apologise to the Kashmiri youth for the killing of Wani and even asked them to remain invisible from the roads and streets.

"The CM's appeasement policy has set the entire valley on fire. There's no law and order, with everybody feeling insecure," the police officer said.

According to Mehbooba Mufti, this act will douse the anger of protesters. Earlier also CM Mufti had shocked everyone when she said that security forces were not aware about Burhan Wani's presence during the July 8 encounter.

She had said that the security forces "may have given him a second chance," if they knew about the identity of Wani.

Mehbooba Mufti was criticised severally for her statement. Its ally BJP had contradicted Mufti's statement saying that the security forces had the knowledge and the identity of a terrorist 'doesn't matter' in such situations.

The party even termed the killing of Wani as "success". The Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Sat Sharma had said, "Security forces don't act without information. They knew who was inside and they undertook their job after taking everything into consideration," reported NDTV.
