THE FILM is totally young, romantic college comedy and writing a review on such a movie is still a difficult job for the critics. As the movie starts, you don’t have to pressurise your 80 grams of brain to predict the coming scenes. And at times, like a silly prophecy of teenage girls, makes the movie boring for the viewers.

While the movie is about friends, just like Dil Chahta Hai, everyone is not spitefully rich here. The movie has a single SUV and is shot on Mumbai’s roads. Further, dialogues about small places like Gwalior and Bollywood’s favourite destination, Rajasthan, make it more simple.

Quite a few times the viewers get the feel of Imtiaz Ali’s Socha Na Tha. Well, this is still a conventional youthful film. They’re all striking in their own ways, and they seem ' like us’. Aamir’s experience is reflected in his nephew and the way he paid off his uncle’s debt, by his superb acting, deserves praise. The female lead of the film, Genelia, after Mere Baap Pehle Aap and Masti, again failed to prove herself.

The latter half reflects the same old formula of Hindi movies and the stars realise their age-old chemistry as love and the movie concludes. What keeps you glued then is the detailing in the writing: Eccentric sub-plots, humorous outline and references, blustery situations and a general sense of joy.

At the end, you’re still in a good mood, and smiling. That’s a huge achievement for a Hindi film these days. I’d say everyone, check this out.
