Jab Tak Hai Jaan or Son of Sardar: What is your choice this Diwali?
Both Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardar are going to battle it out at the box office tomorrow while people celebrate Deepawali - the festival of lights. Though the general moods points towards the success of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, but you never know when people change their mood and ask for Son of Sardar tickets.

ONE IS a romantic flick, another a comedy and people have a difficult choice to make between Jab Tak Hai Jaan (JTHJ) and Son of Sardar (SOS). One movie is going to win hands down against the other due to all the odds working for it.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan is the last work of legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra that has the awesome combination of Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, AR Rahman and Gulzar. Not only that, although Chopra announced that the film would be his last, the untimely death of the filmmaker added another plus point for the film in the form of sympathy.

While Ajay Devgan is fighting tooth and nail to get his film the maximum publicity to sustain the storm that Jab Tak Hai Jaan would soon prove itself to be, he is failing miserably. The man casted Sonakshi Sinha, the lucky charm actress who makes sure that all the films she touches cross 100 crore, also lassoed Salman Khan for a song and even created a controversy but they will go down for sure.

Talking to a few people I could hardly get a person who will choose Son of Sardar over Jab Tak Hai Jaan and all the people, I spoke to, had a good reason behind their choice. Ashim Sunam, a sports journalist said, “It is after many years that SRK is again doing a romantic film and who would want to miss it over SOS.” Alekhya Bolla, who hails from Andra Pradesh and has watched the original version of Son of Sardar said, “Since it is the remake of Telugu film Maryada Ramanna, I already know the story, hence I would prefer to go for JTHJ this November 13.”

Kaustav Rakshit, a film buff pointed the obvious, “Yash Chopra's last directorial debut! I will not give that a miss over SOS, which I am sure would be another version of Singh is King. So this Diwali I have a date with Katrina, Anushka and Yashji.”

Sanjeev Saini, however was the only one who said that he will go for Son of Sardar as he loves comedy over any other kind of film. That the film will have a number of tickles is sure and he wants to be a part of that. Devgan might just curse the day he decided to release Son of Sardar on November 13 and not prepone or postpone it. However, a number of punjabis are quite excited about the film and who knows Ajay Devgan might just win the war of tickets as no one can really predict the mood of Indians.

Hats off to Ajay Devgan..this man has shown what he is capable of and single handedly took on SRK lobby..despite of SOS released in much lesser screens than JTHJ it has done almost similar business and can cross 100 crore collection at any moment..many single screens have already removed JTHJ and is replaced by SOS..This indicates who is real king of bollywood..Ajay with 5 movies more than 100 crores is a major force to reckon along with Salman and Amir.. Its a fitting reply to monopolistic SRK
