Jaganmohan Reddy has completed his ODAARPU in Krishna district, which is said to be an undisputed success, which is a place for dominated Kamma caste and political nerve centre of Andhra Pradesh. He carried it out for 37 days and consoled 66 families.

THE ANDHRA Pradesh government is in a position of solving the problems of the farming community. YS Jaganmohan Reddy said this in Vijayawada. The President of YSR Congress while addressing a mammoth public meeting in front of sub-collector’s office compared the prices of fertilizers in past years, and commented that farmers have to buy them in the black market like cinema tickets. He said that this type of situation did not arise in the era of his father YSR. But now he has to protest (Dharna) here for the grievances of farmers.

He also pointed out that the government has not reacted on crop holiday, which was announced by farmers themselves for want of better prices for their produce. This was the first of its kind in the country, he lamented. Jaganmohan Reddy has ended his Krishna District ‘ODARPU’ with a protest (dhrana ) before the sub-collector office on Saturday. Farmers from neighboring districts participated in big numbers in this Dharna - extending their solidarity to Jaganmohan Reddy.

Jagan has carried out his ODARPU in Krishna district for 37 days and he travelled more than 1600 kms and covered not less than 450 villages. His yatra in the district was a great success in a region which is a political nerve centre of Andhra Pradesh.
