Jaipur to celebrate Book Lovers Day with 'donate a book' campaign
Book Lovers Day is going to be observed in Jaipur on November 9 with a "Donate a Book" campaign initiated by the local newspaper Rajasthan Patrika. Various book lovers have been asked to deposit a new or old book at their office at Jhalana Institutional Area. The collected books will be offered to the local public libraries, orphanages and old age homes.

On this day, the events such as visiting local libraries; revisiting old favourite books; collecting and collating references and bibliography; buying a new book; writing book reviews; reading aloud events; rearranging book shelves; gifting and donating books; beginning writing a new book; developing book reading habit; forming book clubs; visiting local scribes, writers and authors; hosting a book lovers party; passing on old books to those who need them; and many more get organized.

Contacting bibliophiles or persons who have a great appreciation and passion of collecting books and studying them at their homes can also be good idea. Book release events and talk shows with authors and publishers is another way of celebrating the event.

On this day just sit back, relax and read a new book. One can also share the joy of reading with the young people around and inspire them to read.
