"Right to Education Act, 2009 has put immense responsibility on the State Government in respect of ensuring universal access to quality education to all the children in the age group of 6 to 14. State Government with the help of Government of India is making serious efforts for implementation of the provisions of the Act in its true spirit. However, implementation of the Act would require participation from all sections of society", said the circular issued for the conference.
The issues of quality Improvement, student assessment, curriculum, capacity building of teachers, institutional management, infrastructure development, public-private partnership, mid-day meal scheme, health education and gender issues in education will be discussed during the conference, it was informed.
