In the fair, the students and parents participated in activities relevant to the curriculum of math, science, languages and arts and crafts to promote learning through fun-based activities. Each school subject was allowed five to ten activities to teach visitors concepts from the curriculum.
This is my opinion that student organized and managed learning fairs not only help schools in creating hands-on teaching-learning material but also provide an opportunity to students to demonstrate their learning in front of the visitors.
"Such purely academic fairs not only unleash the creativity of students but also develop their confidence to articulate their learning of various subjects," said the coordinator of the fair.
While creating learning material for the fair in the workshop mode, students learn a number of skills and prepare themselves purposefully for various tasks and responsibilities.
