Jammu based ministers, MLAs in deep slumber: SRS
Shri Ram Sena, Jammu and Kashmir has sought the answer from the Jammu based ministers and Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) for not attending the flagging off of first batch of Shri Amaranth pilgrims at Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar.

Accusing the Jammu Ministers and MLAs of their alleged betrayal of Jammu people, State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan in a press statement said that these ministers and MLAs have lost their moral authority to continue in office.

Making a special mention of flagging off ceremony of Shri Amaranth pilgrims first batch today, where Jammu based Ministers and MLAs failed to show their presence, Mahajan said that Shri Amarnath pilgrimage is one of the most sacred Yatra of Jammu and Kashmir where pilgrims from all over the country as well from abroad visit the Holy Cave to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva but the non presence of Jammu based ministers and MLAs shows that they have lost faith in Lord Shiva and thus hurt the sentiments of crores of Shiv Bhakts.

Mahajan also said that people of Jammu were greatly aggrieved and offended with the insular and biased treatment doled out to the region by them in all fields.

For the last five and half years’ rule, they have miserably failed to deliver and to come up to the expectations of the common man, Rajiv Mahajan said, adding that there was all round chaos with all development projects both in heritage and tourism sector in Jammu Province having come to the grinding halt.

He also castigated Jammu based Ministers for surrendering the rights and interests of Jammu people before their Kashmiri leaderships.

He further alleged that they were thriving on false promises and deceptive slogans and added that there was total mismatch between the announcement and physical delivery on the ground.

In his message to Amaranth pilgrims, Rajiv conveyed his best wishes to the Yatris for successful completion of their yatra, and hope that more and more citizens of India get the divine inspiration to visit the Holy Cave of the Lord Shiva.
