The shares of Japan Airlines touched a record low for the second consecutive day, 24% from Tuesday’s price to 67 yen.
 
It is believed that very soon the Airlines would file for bankruptcy as a part of a revival plan.
 
Hirohisa Fuji, Finance Minister had earlier said that the state would not give the airlines any more loans or bail out package.
 
Japan Airlines rivals like American Airlines and Delta are offering it to buy stake in the firm. However a bankruptcy announcement can make a deal more complicated.
 
A state backed fund, The Enterprise Turnaround Initiative Corp had been asked in October to help out JAL.
 
The decision is likely to be taken in January 2010.
 
Japan Airlines has been bailed out by the government 4 times since 2001.
