IN A private ceremony on Saturday, Former American Idol finalist Jason Castro tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Mandy Mayhal.

The wedding took place in Castro’s hometown near Dallas. But not before Castro celebrated a week-long bachelor’s party with close pals earlier this week.

Last year on Halloween, dressed as characters from the ‘Beauty and the Beast’, Jason had popped the question to Mandy Mayhall. The two had later confirmed their engagement in November, expressing their delight at their decision.

The blue-eyed artiste shot to fame with American Idol, as he finished fourth in season 7 of the show.

On January 12, the 22 year old musician will release ‘The Love Uncompromised’, an extended play.

It has been reported that the EP will be followed by a full-length album in spring this year. Jason Castro also has a tour lined up for later this month.
