ABC will air videos of Jaycee Dugard which were taken over the past few months on Friday night. Jaycee Dugard was freewd from the captivity of Phillip Garrido and his wife wife Nancy last August.
Jaycee is seen with her mother and half-sister in the video and thanking the public for its support. Jaycee begins: “Hi. I’m Jaycee,” the 29-year-old Dugard says to the camera in an excerpt of the video. “I want to thank you for your support and I’m doing well ... It’s been a long haul, but I’m getting there.”
In 1991, Phillip and Nancy Garrido kidnapped Jaycee Dugard and kept her in a ramshackle tent hidden in the back yard of the suburban house in Antioch, California. That time she was mere 11 years old. Dugard had two children by Phillip Garrido, Angel 15 and Starlit 11.
