JCB announces state-of-the-art dealer facility
JCB India has created history by selling its 75,000th machine in India in 2008 and became the first in the construction equipment sector to have accomplished the feat. Today, one out of every two construction equipment sold in India is a JCB product
JCB INDIA Ltd has announced the opening of its dealership in Jammu, namely Gautam Engineering Pvt Ltd. Vipin Sondhi, MD and CEO, JCB India Ltd inaugurated the state-of-the-art facility. This dealership facility is fully equipped with international standard servicing for JCB customers.

This ultra modern facility will provide services to customers in and around Jammu. This facility has a total area of approximately 34,200 sq ft and build-up area of approximately 11,020 sq ft. The dealership infrastructure has been made, as per the JCB corporate identity norms and is equipped with JCB standardised systems to provide a one-stop solution for JCB customers under one roof.


Speaking on the occasion, Sondhi said, “JCB stands for world class earth moving equipment. Its machines have always performed to the hilt and given top most satisfaction to its customers. We are sure this state-of-the-art dealer facility built by our dealer --- Gautam Engineering Pvt Ltd, will help provide better service to our valued customer. Its endeavour is to always be the best in our products and service and this facility will bring us closer to our customers.”

He said JCB is the pioneer in industry and has been recording excellent growth rate. JCB India has created history by selling its 75,000 th machine in India in August 2008, and became the first in the construction equipment sector to have accomplished the feat of selling the highest number of heavy earthmoving equipment in India. JCB started its operations in India in 1979, as a joint venture and in 2003 became a 100 per cent subsidiary of JC Bamford Excavators Limited. Today, one out of every two construction equipments sold in India is a JCB product. It has plans to introduce new products to meet the growing diversity of the market. Today, JCB has three plants in India and is the fastest growing company in the Indian earthmoving and construction equipment industry.

The state-of-the-art JCB Parts and Technical Training Centre, in the Talegaon Dabhade area of Pune, was inaugurated last year. The new JCB parts warehouse is fully equipped with JCB parts, and attachments. It also houses a Technical Training Center, which is equipped with latest audio visual aids for built in service training workshops. This ultra modern facility will provide JCB genuine parts and world class service to customers. JCB has a total of four warehouses across India.
