The Jennifer Hudson Christmas Special will see the American Idol star singing popular holiday songs like “O Holy Night” and “Silent Night,” as she moves around Chicago. She will show viewers places that have been special for her throughout he childhood and influenced her music. She will particularly be seen performing at a small neighbourhood church and her music academy.

The Jennifer Hudson Christmas Special will also see her with her family and childhood friends, while the audience is regaled to her musical journey from Chicago to American Idol and later, Hollywood.
