LIFETIME NETWORK'S "Army Wives" is all set to welcome the wife of Vice President Joe Biden in a Future Episode. Jill Biden will make a guest appearance on the military based serial with the aim to raise awareness about the efforts and contributions by US nationals and their families.
The episode titled "Mud, Sweat and Tears " will feature the fifty nine year old Jill. In the episode, she visits the show's Fort Marshall to kick off the annual Fun Run, and also spends time with military spouses. A number of real Army wives will be featured in the episode, which is scheduled to air August 15. The episode will focus on highlighting the difficulties face by the military spouses.To make things look more realistic and effective, many roles have been played by real military members.
Jill has been working with First Lady Michelle Obama to raise awareness for military families. They'll appear in a public service announcement to air during the episode.Jill is the founder of the Biden Breast Health Initiative non-profit organization, co-founded the Book Buddies program, and is active in Delaware Boots on the Ground. Being an educator, she participated in her husband's presidential and vice-presidential campaigns while continuing her teaching responsibilities
