A DOCUMENTARY on Jimmy the Greek will be telecasted on ESPN 30 for 30 on Tuesday, November 10. The last part of the ESPN 6 part documentary series 30 for 30 will have Jimmy the Greek, who's real name was Jimmy Snyder. He was best known for his racist comment regarding African Americans.
Jimmy was born in Ohio and was an NFL linesmaker in Las Vegas and also a sports announcer for about 10 years. The Las Vegas bookie after around 20 years of a successful linesmaking in Las Vegas joned CNS's The NFL Today as a football analyst. The gambling expert held the sports analyst position for around 20 years until 1988 gaining a lot of popularity until he made racial comments on the African Americans. The comments got him fired and he had to spend the rest of his life in Las Vegas. The racial comment was made on the superority of black athletes.

He passed away on April 21, 1996 due to a heart attack. He was 76 years old when he died and was buried in Steubenville, Ohio at the historical Union Cemetery.
