J&K Gujjars launch online Gojri channel
To showcase their culture and lifestyle to the world and preserve it for posterity, Gujjars in Jammu and Kashmir launched an online video channel on popular You Tube and AOL UK. The channel was launched by Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation.
First ever online Gojri channel was launched on world's most viewed video sharing portals ‘You Tube’ and AOL videos UK by Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday (August 2).
Giving details, Dr. Javaid Rahi, national secretary of Tribal Foundation said that more than 50 videos of different categories in Gojri showcasing different aspects of Tribal and nomadic life of Gujjars will be available initially. He added that the main objective of launching the e-channel in Gojri on globally recognized “You Tube” and AOL web networks is to share and broadcast the prestigious heritage of Gujjars, whol are surviving in J&K against all odds . Another objective is, he said, to highlight online the centuries old tribal traditions of Gujjars .
With the launch of this channel, searching “Gojri” or “Gujjars” on “You Tube” and AOL would get dozens of melodious songs, baits siharfis in Gojri with other detailed information about the Gujjar tribe, their history, culture, social structure, economy and language uploaded by Tribal Foundation.
The broadcast will also provide knowledge about nomadic Gujjars of Jammu and Kashmir, who are passing through a sensitive phase now.
With the launch of this channel, searching “Gojri” or “Gujjars” on “You Tube” and AOL would get dozens of melodious songs, baits siharfis in Gojri with other detailed information about the Gujjar tribe, their history, culture, social structure, economy and language uploaded by Tribal Foundation.

Its a matter of immense pleasure to me that under your auspices the Cultural Foundation has been able to launch an online Gujjari channel. Its indeed a break through. With Yours and other literary icon the Gujjari has survived despite all odds and it will flourish inshallah. I on behalf of Pakistani Gujjars congratulate you and your companions engaged in national service deserve congratulation. Allah may help you.
Some time back I had send my book titled as "Gujjari : The mother tongue of Urdu" to the Gurjardesh Trust. I have given the publication right of that book to them. I do not know whether they have published it or not. That book of mine is a sylabi book for M.Phil students of Pakistani Zabanain wa Adab in Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad.
In the end my regards and warm wishes to all of my brethren who are committed to the promotion of Gujjari language.

Good dear aziz ur rehman. I also request to include more and more Gujari geet to maintain the gujjar atmosphers in the world
