J&K implements Sixth Pay Commission recommendations
The arrears to be paid to the state government employees will only be settled after the full funding for the same becomes available. The arrears shall be paid in five equal installments and shall be credited into the GPF of the employees.
THE JAMMU and Kashmir government, on Thursday (February 20), approved the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission after a meeting of state cabinet led by chief minister Omar Abdullah.

The revised pay structure in the state will be made effective from July 1, 2009 with notional increments from January 1, 2006. As per the order, the salaries for the month of July, 2009, shall be calculated under the revised pay structure and disbursed to employees on August 1, 2009.

The arrears to be paid to the state government employees will only be settled after the full funding for the same becomes available. The arrears shall be paid in five equal installments and shall be credited into the GPF of the employees. The modalities of withdrawal of amounts so credited to the GPF accounts will be worked out separately by the Finance Department.

The cabinet also decided that the benefit of pay revision would also be extended to the employees working in the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and made effective from July 1, 2009.

if u make a clauses so complicated then in clause no 17,regardind qualification bar,their is something for degreeholder in engineering regarding implimentation of increments.
