J&K International Rafting Cup 2013 in Doda on schedule
The Jammu and Kashmir International Rafting Cup 2013 on Chinab River will be held from February 22-28 from Thathri to Pul Doda on Chinab River.
This sporting event is being organized to explore the potential of adventure sports in the Chinab region. The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department will be organizing this Cup. In order to get the organizational details in place the District Development Commissioner Doda convened a meeting involving the sectoral and district officers to review arrangements for the event.
If the event is organized successfully, it will promote tourism in Doda district, and can prove to be a milestone for the growth prospects of the district.
