The women of Jammu and Kashmir have something to cheer about. The state government will induct 13,000 women employees in the social welfare department. The process for filling the posts will be completed by June 15.
IN A week's time, the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) government will employ over 13,000 women in the social welfare department. The information was disclosed by Abdul Ghani Vakil, Social Welfare minister of the state.
The minister informed that the process of filling the posts is in full swing and assured that it will be completed by June 15. Vakil said, "The state government has also prepared a special scheme for rehabilitating those dependents, whose next of the kin were involved and killed in anti-militancy operations.
He further said that a number of initiatives have been taken to ensure transparent and effective working of his ministry as it will go a long way in healing the deep scars of the people hit by militancy.
