JKTF calls for promotions, transfer policy for regulaised ReTs
The office bearers of Regularised ReT Forum has announced decision of merger of their forum into the JKTF, in a meeting chaired by Ganesh Khajuria, state secretary JKTF.
JAMMU KASHMIR Teachers Forum (JKTF) has became a stronger organisation for teaching fraternity as large number of regularised Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers have joined its fold. The office bearers of Regularised ReT Forum announced decision of merger of their forum into the JKTF, in a meeting chaired by Ganesh Khajuria, state secretary JKTF.
Expressing their deep concern over the delaying tactics of the state government, they decided to jointly launch a struggle for redressal of their long pending demands.
All the teachers, who joined the JKTF were welcomed by Ganesh Khajuria in the forum and urged them to work for the betterment of the teaching community.
Surinder Choudhary and Vinay Sharma along with other teachers assured to work jointly for teaching fraternity under the leadership of JKTF Chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani and State General Secretary Ganesh Khajuria. They also raised their long pending demands including inclusion of five years ReT period for promotional benefits, a transparent transfer policy in favour of regularised ReTs and regularisation of all Education Volunteers after completion of seven years service.
Meanwhile, Surinder Choudhary and Vinay Sharma were nominated as Provincial Chief Organiser and Provincial Secretary respectively.
A 32-membered District body of the JKTF for the Jammu District was also constituted in the meeting. Darshan Sharma has been nominated as President, Joginder Singh (Sangrampur) as Senior Vice President, Joginder Chib, Dr Kiran, Chander Mani, Ajaib Singh as Vice Presidents, Majeed Choudhary as General Secretary, Gulam Hussain, Inderjeet Singh, Som Nath, Subash Chander (Miran Sahib) as Secretaries, Ashok Khajuria, Mohan Lal, Ashok Purohit, Jodh Parkash, Joginder Singh (Jourian) as Joint Secretaries, Digvijay Singh as Chief Organiser, Rampal Sharma, Joginder Singh (Bishnah), Sham Lal, Balbir Singh, Ram Krishan as Organisers, Gurdeep Slathia as cashier, Bupesh Choudhary as publicity secretary, Subash Chander (Bishnah) as press secretary, Sardar Khan, Manzoor Ahmed, Karnail Singh, Mohan Lal (Akhnoor) as Co-ordinators, Raj Kumar Uppal as Chief Spokesperson , Rajinder Singh Manhas and Parmod Sharma as Spokespersons.
In the meeting, the membership drive was launched for the cadre of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum which will be completed in one month, across all the zones of Jammu Province, to organise the teachers in a well-disciplined cadre to represent them for the betterment of the teaching community.
Prominent, who addressed the meeting included Ganesh Khajuria, Rajinder Gupta, Bhupinder Shastri, Gopal Singh, Satish Dutta, Surat Singh Toofani, Fareed Ahmed Fani, Bishvamittar, Darshan Sharma, Ashok Raina, Surinder Singh, Narain Choudhary, Gurjeet Singh, Roop Lal, Jammat Ali Agha, Neeraj Sharma, Majid Choudhary and others.
