JOHN MUHAMMAD, who was in news in October 2002 for creating a wave of terror and fright in Washington DC for three weeks, was executed on Tuesday Night in Virginia prison.

John Allen Muhammad and his 17 year old accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo had shot people, killing 10 as they purchased gasoline, went shopping and mowed their lawns.

John Mohammad was put to death by lethal injection at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt, Va. Muhammad had no final statements to make before his execution. Virginia Prison spokesman Larry Taylor said that death was pronounced at 9:11 pm ET

John Muhammad was sentenced to death for killing Dean Harold Meyers at a gas station in Northern Virginia. He and his accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo was also suspected of fatal shootings in Alabama, Arizona, Louisiana and Washington State.
