John Terry sacked, Vanessa selling her story to media?
John Terry has been sacked as England captain this afternoon after a meeting lasting just 12 minutes with national team manager Fabio Capello.
THE SEX SCANDAL has cost John Terry his job. The Chelsea star’s meeting with manager Fabio Capello got over in just 12 minutes and the verdict was out. John Terry is no longer the captain as Rio Ferdinand steps in as the new captain and Steven Gerrard as vice captain. The 28-year old lingerie model who has been sleeping with 5 of Chelsea players including Adrian Mutu, Eidur Gudjohnsen, a mystery player and John Terry said she is very sad with the news of Terry losing his job. Terry’s wife Toni continues to holiday in Dubai and gave no reactions on her husband’s losing the job. Terry had a five-month affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the estranged partner of his England team-mate Wayne Bridge. He later tried to cover up his dirty act with a court 'super-injunction'. Vanessa told news agencies that “her friendship with John and his family have been the subject of intense and wholly unfair and untrue media speculation. As Max has already said, much of the material in the press is inaccurate. I now find myself subject to other unsubstantiated and false claims which have appeared in the papers over the past few days. This has only added to the pressure which my family and I have been under. The media has sought to pore over my private life and that of my family, which is very upsetting. I have decided I do not want to speak publicly about the speculation since it only seems to add more fuel to the fire. I have a three-year-old son and he is my main concern.” “I do not believe speaking to newspapers or the media is in his interest or my own.I do not wish to add anything more to what I have said.” The Football Association has been desperate to avoid a crisis in the run-up to this summer's World Cup finals in South Africa. In a statement Capello said: 'After much thought, I have made the decision that it will be best for me to take the captaincy away from John Terry. “As a captain with the team, John Terry has displayed extremely positive behaviour. However, I have to take into account other considerations and what is best for all of the England squad.” 'What is best for all of the England team has inspired my choice. John Terry was notified first. Prime Minister Gordon Brown said: 'This decision must be for the manager and Mr Capello has made that decision. I think people will abide by that decision.'Terry kept his comment on his sacking brief: 'I fully respect Fabio Capello's decision. I will continue to give everything for England,' he said in a statement. TIGER WOODS IS TERRY'S HERO John Terry had earlier said, Tiger Woods - embroiled in his own extra-marital sex scandal – is his favourite sportsman. Terry also told Football Punk magazine last September of the importance of being 'honest' with team-mates - at the very time he was cheating on his wife with Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend. 'We have a good bunch of players in the England squad who are honest with each other,' he said. 'That's how I want it to be. It's not just because I'm captain, we all have to be honest because we all want the same thing, and that's to win.'
