Evan Chandler, father of Jordy Chandler, the boy who accused Michael Jackson of sexual abuse in 1994, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. He was found with a gun held to his body and had a single bullet wound to the side of his head.

EVAN CHANDLER, father of Jordy Chandler, the boy who accused Michael Jackson of sexual abuse in 1994, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. Jordy Chandler, now 29 years of age was the unnamed boy in 1994 who had received $ 22 million from Michael Jackson for settlement. A contract was signed agreeing never to talk about the allegations. Jordy who's real name is Jordan had claimed that the pop star had molested him.

Evan Chandler, 65 was found in his bed holding a firearm with a gun shot wound on his head. The former Beverly Hills densit, Evan was found by a concierge at his Jersey City apartment on November 5, after he was not able to keep a doctor's appointment.

It has been just 5 months after his son, Jordy's absuer Michael Jackson died at his Los Angeles home due to acute Propofol intoxication. Police said that they have ruled Evan's death as a sucide case as he was found with a gun held to his body and had a single bullet wound to the side of his head. Also no note was found. However officers did find medication in keeping with a serious medical condition.

Earlier Chandler's claim that Jackson had abused his son, triggered the fall from grace. A more than a year probe followed including a raid on Jackson's Neverland Ranch in California. However the case never reached court after the settlement was done. Evan a divorcee underwent a series of cosmetic surgeries, because of the public furore that followed the allegations by him.

Earlier, Evan had also filed a $60 million lawsuit against Jackson and his then wife Lisa Marie Presley for talking about the molestation case, allegedly breaching the contract.
