Every year World Humanist Day is observed on June 21 across the world. On this day, awareness is spread about humanism as a philosophy of life, learning and social transformation.
WORLD HUMANIST Day is observed every year, on June 21. On this day, awareness is spread about humanism as a philosophy of life, learning and social transformation.

Humanism is defined by one of its leading proponents, Corliss Lamont, as ‘a naturalistic philosophy that rejects all supernaturalism and relies primarily upon reason and science, democracy and human compassion."

Here is an acrostic that describes humanism.

H: Human possibilities and potentials are central
U:
Universal in nature
M: Man-making is the area of prime concern
A: Anti- supernatural and anti-religious dogmas
N: Natural and social justice are areas of concern
I: Innate human potentials are stressed
S:
Secular in nature
M: Moral and ethical values are most important.
