Jupiter-Venus conjunction 2017: An astronomical event worth watching
Since November 13, during the dawn time, Jupiter-Venus proximity in the clear sky has continued to enthrall both the sky watchers and astronomers. The two planets are going to be close to each other providing a spectacular sight in the sky for a few days.

It was reported that about one hour before the sunrise, the two planets were at 0.3 degree proximity. The interest in the astronomical event was high since it happens every 13 months, the last being in 2016.

The event in the scientific circles is called Jupiter-Venus conjunction. This time the brightness of Venus is minus 3.9 and that of Jupiter will be minus 1.7 magnitudes.

The next Jupiter-Venus conjunction will be visible in January 2019. Many sky watchers and astronomy enthusiasts are going to get together to collectively watch the event.

Though, it was the best sky spectacle on Monday morning. However, still one can set their alarm clocks for 5 'O clock morning and watch the event.
