Justin Bieber awarded the best Collaborative Video of the Year in CMT award 2011
The teen heart throb did it again with his video 'That Should Be Me', which won the Collaborative Video of the Year in CMT award 2011. Taylor Swift also got her share when she was awarded the best video of year award.
FOR A teenager of 17 years, Justin Bieber has seen enough stardom to last him a lifetime but he is not stopping anytime soon as he proclaims with each award that he wins, and the latest one to go down his impressive resume would be the CMT win where he garnered the award for the Collaborative Video of the Year award.
He shared the award for his video ‘That Should Be Me’ video with Rascal Flatts. The CMT award, which was hosted yesterday, also saw Taylor Swift win the Video of the year award. It was a ceremony where the young generation were making their mark.

The CMT award is hosted every year in Nashville, Tennessee, and broadcasted every year live on the CMT channel. The awards are decided by the votes of the audience and the contender with the most number of votes wins the award. Apart from teen heartthrob Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton won the Male Video of the Year award for his "Who Are You When I'm Not Looking", and Miranda Lambert won the Female Video of the Year award, for her “ The House That Built Me."

The award function, which commemorates the music video or the artist for the country music, saw much drama in the award function that was hosted by Kid Rock for the second consecutive year. The ceremony was opened by Wynonna Judd by her foot-tapping number "Hell Yes, I'm Country." The highest moment came however when Shania Twain did faux pas by falling on stage.

The Canadian singer seemed quite mortified but was laughing for the cameras also encouraged by the huge roar of the crowd after she landed on her bottom while going on stage to present an award to the best male video of the year.

All in all, the award ceremony was fun and the audience enjoyed it to the fullest.
