Grapevine has it that all Karnataka MLAs, MLCs, and MPs will try to meet the Prime Minister and Home Minister to point out the mistakes done by the Governor. On Monday, the 11 BJP and 5 Independent legislators had filed a review petition.
THE POLITICAL puddle in Karnataka has just got a bit uglier. The fate of the 16 rebel MLAs will be judged by the Karnataka High Court on Tuesday. The dissident MLAs includes 11 from ruling BJP and 5 independent MLAs. All these MLA's were shown the doors only hours before the controversial trust vote won by the BS Yeddyurappa led government in the Assembly.
The BJP acting on counter offensive will parade 105 of its MLA's before the President today. BJP President, Nitin Gadkari is slated to hold a meeting at senior leader LK Advani's residence today.However, grapevine has it that all Karnataka MLA's, MLC's, and MP's will try to meet the Prime Minister and Home Minister to point out the mistakes done by the Governor. Post these series of incidents, the state is gripped by political tension and most likely the focal point will be New Delhi instead of Bangalore.Meanwhile, Congress President Sonia Gandhi is scheduled to meet Congress leaders from Congress's unit in Karnataka. The Congress is also waiting for the High Court's decision on the disqualification of 16 rebel MLA's.
