Kasauli: The heaven on earth

KASAULI, A beautiful small hill station in the state of Himachal Pradesh is just about 330 kilometer from Delhi and is situated at an altitude of 1925 meter above sea level. The convenient time to visit this hill station is between April and September. When you gaze at Kasauli, you will experience that you have been taken into the time of British. The place appears to have preserved its beauty without being influenced by the modern lifestyle to a great extent. The cemented roads, old-fashioned shops, traditional houses with majestic portico and small orchards, all strike a chord of the time when the country was not so contaminated or inhabited.
 
Surrounded with trees of Chir Pine, Himalayan oak and huge horse chestnuts, the hills around Kasauli offer an enthralling sight. When you move about through the constricted roads of the hill resort, you will come across with some captivating landscapes and views. Sanawar: It is a very famous place near Kasauli. Sanawar is recognised for sheltering one of the reputed schools in the country. Monkey Point:
It is the uppermost point in Kasauli and is just about three to four kilometer from the bus terminal and offers some amazing panorama of the valley below. Another well-liked pull of the spot is a temple, devoted to Lord Hanuman. 
 
Pasteur Institute:
Pasteur Institute of Kasauli is recognised for generating anti-rabies vaccine against mad dog-bite. It came into being in 1900, and the organisation today looks after pets, police and army dogs as along with their masters. 
 

Christ Church: Christ Church originated in 1844, when British were still ruling the country. Today also suggestive of the old-style appeal, the church boats of a characteristically Anglican architectural fashion.
