Kasme Wade Pyar Wafa sab, Waden hain Wadon Ka Kya".....the BJP Manifesto 2019
"An old Tharra (country liquor) in the new bottle with a brand label that is no longer saleable as it was in 2014" ? In nutshell one can describe the Election Manifesto of BJP released just three days before the Indian masses would begin to go to polling booths.

The highlight ? In glaring contrast to question-answer session after the release of Congress manifesto, no heavyweight of BJP dared to take up a question from journalists. It was in keeping with the tradition of its leader. 'Samwad' and 'Man ki Baat' ?all one sided. Irrefutably, it falls flat before Congress Manifesto as it has no provisions that NYAY of Congress party promises. Only false claims confusing vision while Congress has shown a clear road and road map. Amazing that the BJP is planning for year 2047 with no proof of fulfilment of promises it made in 2014.

"Kaun Jeeta hai teri zulf se sir hone tak............."

It has 75 points ? none of them that invigorating or reassuring including abrogation of Article 370, annulling Article 35A, passing Citizenship Amendment Bill, forming Triple Talaq law, doubling farmers' income by 2022, Housing for all by 2022 and doubling the length of National Highways by 2022. The party also promised to facilitate the expeditious construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. All these points have been repeated unabashedly since the inception of BJP / Jansangh. With the tagline 'Sankalpit Bharat, Sashakt Bharat', the BJP said it would deliver on 75 promises in India's 75th year of Independence.

So, is there any point in flogging the dead horse ? the recall of BJP manifesto of 2014? All that was the cluttering of Election Jumlas worth forgetting! The promises and the track of realization of 2014 Dream Manifesto would soon go one into the folk lore jokes.

In the early reaction, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah enlightened the Saffron Brigade that abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution will pave the way for freedom of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. If you do that the accession will not stand.

And JD (U) has also underlined its unease over some issues vehemently pushed by its ally BJP. Shri KC Tyagi of JD (U) has reiterated his party's stand on the three contentious issues? Article 370 and Article 35(A) of the Constitution, Uniform Civil Code and Ram temple.

New Delhi: Soon after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its Sankalp Patra, the Congress hit out at the saffron party for keeping their poll manifesto cover Narendra Modi-centric. It said that the cover itself shows the difference between the vision of the two parties - while the Congress manifesto cover is representative of the people of India, BJP's Sankalp Patra has Modi at its forefront.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel said the BJP should have come out with a 'maafi naama' (letter of apology) instead of a manifesto.

Honestly speaking, I was unimpressed with the speeches delivered during the occasion. However, the tweet of Sudheendra Kulkarni' the famous speech writer of L K Advani ji had sent the shiver through my spine. It claims:

"If you want to know how shoddily and carelessly several parts of #BJPManifesto have been written, go no
further than this...

"Women security would be given more priority. We have constituted the Women's Security Division in the Home Ministry, and had made strict provisions for transferring the laws in order to commit crimes against women."
