Kate Gosselin is in news again. She has a new hairstyle for the New Year 2010. She got divorced from her hubby Jon Gosselin on December 18. Kate has finally said a goodbye to her short hair also. She has been on the cover of the people’s magazine Friday Issue. Earlier she had her signature short asymmetrical hairstyle but now she has a new hairdo, a new hairstyle having long hair weave, complete with highlights and short layers.

Many think that her earlier hairstyle was much better than her new hairstyle. She said that her short hair was easy and it took her less than 3 minutes to shower.

Celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson had spent 20 hours in giving Gosellin the blond hair extensions. She jokingly said that with her new hairstyle comes the new name. She said, “It’s hyphenated. I am now Kate Clean-Slate.”

She added that it was good to have hair again and she feels that it’s a fresh new start and a fresh life.
