Kathryn Bigelow's new film Triple Frontier angers South America
After successfully portraying most volatile zone of world, Iraq, Oscar winner director, Kathryn Bigelow is finding it tough to impress the South American authorities about her next movie tentatively titled 'Triple Frontier.'

AFTER SUCCESSFULLY portraying most volatile zone of world, Iraq, Oscar winner director, Kathryn Bigelow is finding it tough to impress the South American authorities about her next movie tentatively titled “Triple Frontier.”

Argentina and Paraguay are refusing to cooperate in the production of the film focusing on a border region thought to be a center of terror financing. The script of the movie is perfect if you go by the geo-political viewpoint and issues that world facing at present. Controversy from the beginning to make it one of the most debated and talked about movies project until it hits the screen.

Bigelow, whose movie, “The hurt Locker” won multiple Oscars this year, including the best picture, wants to examine the area where Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil meet in a film tentatively titled “Triple Frontier.”

Bur the focus on the region has angered the tourism ministers of concerned nations, who fear the movie could damage their countries reputation with the foreign tourists.

“We discussed this subject with the Paraguay’s tourism minister and the governor of Misiones,” said Argentine Tourism minister Enrique Meyer.

“We all agreed we are deeply indignant when we discovered that this project seeks to negatively portray shared by three South American countries, “Meyer said.

The border region has long been associated with trade in contraband items and the U.S. Government said it is a center for terror financing, a claim the concerned countries collectively denies.

Well, it will hurt their tourism r not but it already started hurting the maker of “The Hurt Locker.”
