British comedian Russell Brand and American pop singer Katy Perry wedding will take place tonight at the desert resort Aman-i-Khas near Ranthambhore in Rajasthan. The celebrity couple will tie the knot according to the Hindu traditions.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand got engaged in December 2009, the 35-year-old comedian Russell Brand proposed to Katy Perry outside the epitome of love and romance, the Taj Mahal, while on a romantic holiday in India.
The couple Katy Perry and Russell Brand's nuptials will have traditional Indian wedding, band, baraat and fireworks. Lebanese designer Reem Acra has designed the bridal dress for Katy Perry. She has been spotted wearing a nath, a traditional bridal nose ring and planning to decorate mehndi. The groom Russell Brand already decorated his hand with mehndi, plans to arrive on a white decorated horse at the wedding venue. Their wedding rituals will be performed by a Hindu priest.
It is expected that about 85 to 90 guests will attend the much hyped and much awaited wedding function of Katy Perry and Russell Brand. Their guest list including bride and groom's family, Katy's best friend singer Rihanna, Jonathan Ross, David Baddiel and David Walliams.
The couple first met in 2008 when Perry filmed a cameo for Brand's film Get Him to the Greek. Perry and Brand began dating in September 2009.
