Katy Perry, Russell Brand wedding countdown starts
British comedian Russell Brand, 35 and pop singer Katy Perry, 26 will tie the nuptial knot on Saturday October 23 and it will be a four day affair which will end on October 26.
INTERNATIONAL CELEBRITY couple British comedian Russell Brand and American pop singer Katy Perry reached India for their wedding as per the Hindu rituals. The couple will tie the knot at the desert resort Aman-i-Khas near Ranthambhore, a famous tiger safari in Rajasthan. Katy Perry got engaged to comedian Russell Brand in December 2009 while on a holiday in India.

It is expected that about 85 to 90 guests will be attended in their wedding function including Katy's best friend and R&B singer Rihanna, Jonathan Ross, David Baddiel and David Walliams.
Lebanese designer Reem Acra has designed the bridal dress for Katy Perry. Indian designers Falguni and Shane Peacock are also working on her trousseau. She is also expected to be decorated in traditional mehndi on her hands ahead of the marriage ceremony.
