KCR says unified Andhra agitation is a drama
Thursday was a hectic day for Unified Andhra leaders. The PRP Chief Chiranjeevi has announced his resignation for the cause of Unified Andhra. Mohanbabu extended his solidarity for the agitation by doing a token fast of one day in Tiruparti.
‘I AM maintaining a strategic silence. I will come out in three or four days. For it I don’t bother to take even an energiser’ said Chandrasekhra Rao, president of Telangana Rastra Samithi on Thursday evening, December 17, while talking to media. Telangana agitation was a true sentiment of Telangana people, lava came out spontaneously from their hearts, he described.

He countered the statements of all Unified Andhra leaders and said they could not be a hurdle to form Telangana state. According to the constitution of India, to form a separate state, Assembly resolution is not necessary, he stated.

The agitation now going on in Andhra and Rayalaseema for want of Unified Andhra is a bogus one and it has come out of the money of some rich men, he alleged. The agitation for Telangana was a genuine one and it has been going on for the last 55 years. He was going on to say that in the history of Indian Government says no going back of the decision once announced and there was no need of fear about Telangana. He said, he would not fear of the agitation of Unified Andhra.

He did not leave Chandrababu Naidu and Chiranjeevi from his censure. He said Chiranjeevi lacked the political knowledge and Chandrababu is a lizard of changing colours.
