Kejriwal blames media for 'spreading rumors of rift' with Anna Hazare

Member of erstwhile Team Anna and founder of India Against Corruption, Arvind Kejriwal has rejected the reports of rift between him and his mentor Anna Hazare. While addressing reporters after meeting Anna Hazare in New Delhi, Kejriwal held media speculations as a reason behind the reports of rift.

ARVIND KEJRIWAL said that he and Anna had the same goal of doing away with corruption, and only the paths are different. This comes after the recent statement of Anna Hazare, in which the anti-corruption crusader asked Kejriwal not to use his name for his yet-to-be launched political party.

“Since Anna ji has come to Delhi, we had come to him. We share relations with him, which will always be there. As he has been saying our paths are different but the goal is same, we have to reach that goal of making our country corruption free. We came here to tell Anna ji that we are always with him and whenever he will call us, we will be be there,” said Kejriwal, according to this NNIS video.

On the reports of his alleged involvement in a multi crore land scam, Kejriwal said that there are some political bigwigs behind such false reports. He challenged the government to implement Jan Lokpal Bill and probe his involvement.

“There are political powers behind it, which are framing allegations against us. For the one and half years there were many charges against us and there will be more to come in future. We are saying that introduce Jan Lokpal Bill and start a probe against us. If found guilty, then send us to jail,” said added Kejriwal.

Notably Anna and Kejriwal parted ways with later announcing to form a political party to fight the corruption. However, as per the latest reports coming in Anna Hazare has said that he will support Kejriwal if he fights elections.

Dear Arvind Kejriwal, Do not blame Media at all. Just look in to the versions of Anna Jee, who has been always in the wrong in saying that Politics is dirty, whereas it can not be. Though the dirty & polluted are the people, who have taken charge of this most pious profession indeed. Now with the prevailing of better senses upon Anna Jee, it is likely to be seen by the people that he shall reverse his attitude about politics, which is literally structured on Human Society insooth. And thereafter the Media shall say again whatever shall be heard publically thus in no case put the blame on Media, who is likely to be THE FIRST FORCE, in the days to come-
