Kejriwal's protest against Union Home Ministry enters second day; to run his Govt. from the protest venue
Looks Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is in no mood of giving up the idea of protest as his demonstration against the Union Home Minist has entered in second day. More than 4000 security personnel including Delhi police and paramilitary soldiers have been deployed to control the situation.

The Delhi CM has said that the protest will continue  on the same venue i.e. outside Rail Bhavan till his demands are met. He said that he would run his government from here only.

Kejriwal who is protesting against the alleged misbehaviour of Delhi Police official with his ministers Somnath Bharti and Rakhi Bidhlan has threatened that Union Home Ministry does not take action against the errant police officials then he would flood the Rajpath with lakhs of protesters which will disrupts the Republic Day celebrations.

From January 23 the entire area surrounding the Rajpath will be under the Army, which keeps a tight watch in the area in wake of the Republic Day parade and the number of VIP dignitaries taking part in the celebrations.

The Delhi Police has challenge in its hand to sanitise the entire area before January 23. Seeing this there are chances of forceful eviction of Kejriwal and his supporters from the sensitive area either to the Jantar Mantar or to any other place far off from the Parliament.

Kejriwal had ruled out any negotiations to scale down the protest, while saying that safety of women in the capital is not a matter of negotiation. The Delhi CM slept on the road under the open sky while some of his supporters spent the night singing and raising slogans around bonfire.

Kejriwal has denied to accept the request by the police and the center to shift the venue of protest from Rail Bhavan to Jantar Mantar. He said that first they have to accept his demand for action against the policemen who had refused to act against the alleged drug and prostitution racket.
