Kill Musharraf and get Rs 100 million worth bungalow in Quetta
Grandson of late Nawab Akbar Bugti, Shahzain Bugti has announced a bounty on Musharraf's head and even threatened the government of dire consequences, if the leader is not arrested upon his landing in Pakistan.

ANOTHER SHOCKER and quite obvious such things can happen in Pakistan only. Slain Bloch leader Akbar Bugti’s grandson and president of the Jamhoori Watan Party, Shahzain Bugti, has announced a bounty of Rs 1 million cash and 100 million bungalow in Quetta on former President general Pervez Musharaff’s head. Addressing a press conference, the young leader held Musharaf responsible for the killing of his father and announced that the ‘hero’ (person who kills Musharraf) would be awarded with 72 hours of former president’s death.

Musharraf has said that he would visit the country after an almost three-year-long self-imposed exile in the last week of January this month. Already, there are speculations in the media that he will fight the forthcoming parliamentary elections along with former Cricketer and President Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Party (PTI). “We will give Rs 1 million in cash and a bungalow worth Rs 100 million to anybody who kills Musharraf. And we’ll also provide him full security,” Express Tribune newspaper quoted Shahzain.

“The gallows are ready for Musharraf. There will be serious consequences, if the government does not arrest him upon his arrival. Musharraf was responsible for the killing of hundreds of people. He not only killed my grandfather but also hundreds of innocent people during the Lal Mosque operation in Islamabad. Ulema have also declared him wajibul qatal (liable to be killed),” Shahzain claimed, according to the paper.

He has also threatened to approach the Supreme Court of Pakistan if Musharraf was not arrested in Pakistan. He has also held talks with Nawaz Sharif about the fate of former president and there are speculations that former might be using him for the electoral gains. Fearing the alliance between Imran and Musharraf, Nawaz might use Shahzain to build a hate campaign against the former military ruler.

Akbar Bugti was one of the most influential leaders in Balochistan and he was killed in the military operation, believed to be ordered by Musharraf, who was the Army general at that time. He had to face lot of criticism after the leader’s death, given his popular image in the region.
