It may be recalled that one senior member of the Owaisi family of Hyderabad had attended an important meeting of the Muslim League on Partition of India and had chalked out a detailed plan of general massacre of Hindus but failed to implement it because of arrival of the Indian Army in the then Hyderabad state under Maj Gen Chaudhary, and defeated and dissipated the looters and marauders named Razakars.
It was an out and out 'hate speech', and the state government should have arrested him and put him in jail. But it did not because of its policy of 'Appeasement of Muslims' as the Congress party treats them as a vote bank.
Owaisi has talked of a Direct Action against the Hindus and thus rekindled the hatred against the Hindus by Muslims. Owaisi must be put into the prison straightway. A feeble government has to be encouraged to do it. If it fails to take action against Owaisi family. Promoters of Razakars as per law of the land, it would be committing a grave mistake and also inciting violence.
His words and actions are against the Constitution of India and for this violation he must be disenfranchised post haste as late Bala Saheb Thakre was done. Failing to do so would expose the weakness of the government of India to take action against those men who are destabilising the state.
The sooner this legal action is taken against Akbar Owaisi, the better it would be. Letting a cobra like him slither all over the house will amount to promoting policy of Razakars who had to be punished by the Indian Army in the Police Action initiated by Sardar Patel.
Will Shri Shinde, the present Home Minister emulate Sardar Patel? The mild-mannered Sushil Kumar Shinde may not come up to the expectations of the Razakars who harassed Hindu of the erstwhile Hyderabad state, which had been ruled by the Nizam since dfisintegration of the Mughal empire in India.
The successive Nizams remained loyal to the British East India Company for fear of the Maratha Confedracy under Peshwas of Pune. This uninterrupted rule by Nizams for almost three centuries gave them enough accumulated wealth and diamonds to please the Company Bahadur. Since the Nizam helped the British company Bahadfur during the Sepoy mutiny, the British rulers of post-Mutiny India took special care not to annoy the Nizamshah of Hyderabad.
The British power in India suppressed the Sepoy Mutiny with an iron hand. They let the Nizam have whatever he wanted as spoils of war. The Nizams did a good turn to the British in and out of India. They gave a lot of man power and money to the White Hall in London to prosecute war with undivided attention and did not let them suffer from any crisis of shortages of man power and money power. Nizam remained loyal to the British Paramount Power till their departure from the Indian shores on 15 Aug 1947.
The Nizam was encouraged by the morbid Muslim communalism embodied as the Razakars to kill, maim, loot and harass Hindus, not forgetting to rape and convert the Hindu women to Islam. But for the sagacity of Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel. Things would have gone from bad to worse. He, as the Home Minister of India, ordered the Indian Army to launch an attack on Hyderabad and dissipate it. So be it.
The princely srate of Hyderabad now stands amalgamated with the rest of India that is Bharat. The common man is happy and contented and minor problems are solved by the democratic form of government.
