King Khan, as he is known across the country, was dressed in the conventional scholar’s negligee on the auspicious occasion. Vice Chancellor of the Bedfordeshire University-Les Ebdon bestowed the Doctorate degree in Arts and Culture on Shahrukh at a glittering ceremony attended by many who’s who of academic and film domain.

As reported earlier, Shahrukh Khan was nominated by country’s leading Non Governmental Organisation - Routs to Roots, an NGO engrossed across the SAARC region in order to bring people from diverse backgrounds together.
