What Shahrukh Khan did in the Wankhede, the owner of the winning team, is not a big question, the big question is that the security guard with the uniform and the whistle misbehaved with the Indian icon. He behaved like the US security guards in America as if he had never seen Shahrukh. That insensitive person in going to pose as the strict disciplinarian insulted the eminent King of Bollywood in front of his kids. He is not just anybody, he is loved by millions and billions of people all over Mumbai, India, and the whole world. It is still more surprising that the BCCI and the other cricket club are trying to defend the security guard who should be taught a lesson in behavior instead. This is Shahrukh Khan, the most decent and sophisticated among the Bollwood actors, and he never gets into a scuffle without a reason.
“The allegations against the security guards are of a serious nature and the case should be investigated by the NCPCR and if allegations of child abuse are found to be true then strict action should be initiated under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Juvenile Justice Act against the guilty. The security guards of Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium should be brought to book for allegedly manhandling and abusing the children accompanying Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan on May 16 night. Little girls below the age of 13 were also manhandled by the security guards.
What is more, is that Shahrukh Khan is an idol for the film fans of India, and the world. By insulting him, the BCCI cannot be spared. Cricket officials targeted him to divert attention from the IPL spot fixing issue. It is hard to believe that the security guard did not know with whom he is so insensitively behaving, especially when he is with his son and daughter after the thunderous win in the match. He went back to the team dressing room and then went to collect his kids so that they could also share the joy of victory. It is hard to believe that Shahrukh came drunk and came along with his children. He is the most decent person so far and till today no scandal is there in his name.
Kirti Azad, the former cricketer, rightly came forward in his defense saying that “this is a ploy by the BCCI to hide the spot fixing issue". He also alleged that “BCCI has double standards, it’s a diabolical situation. Why does the board want a police probe against the actor?" Even the Royal Challengers Bangalore owner Vijay Mallya , also an MP, said “Shahrukh was a very well behaved man”. He is passionate and enthusiastic about his team. Even former railway minister Lalu Prasad said: “We should listen to Shahrukh’s version also before jumping to conclusions".
The moot question is the insensitive and inhuman behavior of the security guards. He sticks to the law and overlooks the other important aspects of the issue. But the senior management officials had also been there. They should not allow the thing to go that extent. Was it a ploy then against Shahrukh by BCCI?
