KKR take on Warriors in a must win CL T20 game
KKR needs to win its next game against Warriors to keep their hopes alive in reaching the semi-finals of the competition. The match is scheduled to be played today in Bangalore later tonight.

KOLKATA KNIGHT Riders is all set to play its last match of the Group stage against Warriors later tonight at Bangalore. KKR have 2 points from 3 matches and Warriors have 4 points from 2 matches. Hence, the KKR is in a spot of bother as a win against the Warriors might not guarantee them an entry into the semi finals. They need to win the Warriors game with a healthy run rate and hope other results go in their favour, which does not look so easy. But KKR would give its best, just to raise hopes of the Shahrukh Khan-owned team.

The KKR played a good game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last outing, where both their batsmen and the bowlers put up a strong performance in their first victory. KKR batsmen, especially Kallis and Brad Haddin, rose to the occasion and played a good knock to seal the match in quick time, which was very important for KKR. Gautam Gambhir also looked in fine touch, which was a positive sign for the KKR side.

Warriors, on the other hand, have remained undefeated in the tournament and sit pretty on top of the table. A victory against KKR would mean a semi final berth for Warriors, which they would surely like to achieve with a game to spare. If it turns this way, their players would get a chance to rest ahead of their important semi-final clash. Their players such as Ashwell Prince, Colin Ingram, Mark Boucher, Nicky Boje, Wayne Parnell, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, and Rusty Theron have the much needed experience to oust KKR from the tournament.

KKR players would be receiving support from Bangalore fans, but big players from KKR such as Gambhir, Kallis, Yusuf Pathan, Haddin and Brett Lee, should be on top of their game to give any chance for the KKR side to reach the semi finals of the competition. With such importance attached to the game, it is the crowd at Bangalore who would be benefitting a lot as they are sure to be entertained with such quality players at thier disposal.
