In a devastating incident, a labourer's hand has been chopped off by his employer when he asked for his salary which was pending for last three months. Although, the victim did lodge a complaint but only one of the accused has been arrested so far.
IN A shocking incident a labourer's hand was chopped off when he asked for salary from his employer. So far only one person has been arrested in this connection. The incident happened when Aliyaar, a labourer working in an illegal alcohol unit asked for his three months' pending salary.
The owners brother, who was allegedly drunk at the time beat him up and cut off his hand. “I work as a labourer in an alcohol making unit. I went to ask for my pending wages to the owner but he was not there. Instead his brother Uday and co-worker Ram Charan were there and they cut off my hand after which I fell unconscious,”Aliyaar told NNIS.
He further added, “When I regained consciousness, I came back home.” The family then took him to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to Ranchi's Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences for better medical facilities. Aliyaar's son said, “Uday Yadav along with co worker Ram Charan both were consuming alcohol. When we went to ask for his pending wages, they cut his hand and he became unconscious. After regaining consciousness he immediately came home and we were shocked to see his predicament.”
Aliyaar has filed a complaint against Uday Yadav and Ram Charan in the Garwa police station out of which one person has been arrested so far.
