The competition in these kinds of premier institutions is of the highest level, where even a 0.1 difference in marks over a competitor may not land you in these institutions. But, with this kind of relaxation that has been offered to the girls, boys vying for admissions will envy them, as it might help more girls in getting admission, even if she scores less than her competitors. There have been various instances in highest competitive examinations, where boys are given tough competition by girls. We would be witnessing the same case here, where the girls have got an upper hand.  

The administrators must have given it a good thought before taking the decision, as reservations have already been a hugely debated topic all over the country. With the introduction of this admission procedure, it would definitely help the girls a huge deal. Some of the girls join other institutions as they fall short of marks by a small margin.

The administrators have aimed towards such an admission procedure as they want more girls to take up management courses. Though, one is not sure if by increasing 2 marks in their score would help them in changing their choice of interests. Many girls are often seen taking up courses such as Mass Media, advertising, medicine, law etc. It would be interesting to see how much success; this new procedure for admission would bring to their institution.
